Here are photos from the last several weekends as promised....

The firing was in the instructor's back yard, here is the kiln set up and process. The Glowing Red and yellows... yes it is that hot.... they open the kiln

The following weekend was the saggar firing and pit firing and throwing workshop. I learned a lot here is an image of the saggar bucket before the firing and before we closed it up. We topped it with another bucket, sealed the seams with clay, and poked holes in it before it went into the kiln. the String and pinecones were soked in some sort of salt and chemicals to leave coloration on the pieces.

I love red pandas, too! Hey - I saw Star Wars this weekend and it was GOOOOOOOD! Waaay better than I was expecting :-) Have a great day!
